Lanzarote Loves Fiesta!

Throughout the year, the island celebrates a number of different fiestas, musical and colourful celebrations enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.

Some of the main festivities include:

January 6th - Dia de Los Reyes - Christmas Day for Canarian children

February / March - Carnival - bright and colourful parades taking place across the island

May 30th - Dia de Canarias - celebrate all things Canarian, children in national costume

June 23rd - San Juan - Bonfire Night in Lanzarote

Mid June - Corpus Christi - marvel at the amazing salt pictures created across the streets

End August - San Gines - huge fun fair in Arrecife and a huge firework display

September - Los Dolores - Mancha Blanca pilgramage taken by hundreds of local people
