How We Use Your Personal Information (Data Protection)

All personal information that We may collect (including, but not limited to, your name and address) will be collected, used and held in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and your rights under that Act.

We may use your personal information to:

Provide Our Service to you;
Process your payment for the Service; and
Inform you of new products and services available from Us. You may request that We stop sending you this information at any time.

We will not pass on your personal information to any other third parties [without first obtaining your express permission].

Refund Policy

Standard Industry Cancellation Fees Apply To All Bookings: Payments are non-refundable. If you cancel after receipt of your deposit, you will forfeit the deposit. If you cancel less than 3 months before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be retained.

Terms and Conditions

All Bookings are taken subject to acceptance of the below:

Arrival and departure: Arrival is anytime after 4pm. Departure is 10am. Guests staying in the Eco Village of Finca de Arrieta do have access to the shared areas including a shower room and toilets at all times.

Tentative Bookings can be Reserved until 10am the following morning at our discretion, after which a deposit is required to confirm your reservation. If for any reason the payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and will retain deposits.

A credit card number is required for damage/security purposes. Lanzarote Retreats is authorised to deduct monies to cover the cost of additional/excess cleaning, damages, repairs, replacement of goods or any other breaches of these terms and conditions. This includes leaving unwashed dishes and smoking inside. Any additional fees will be charged to guests credit card facilities after their departure.

Accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy manner removing all rubbish, bottles, food and personal items.

All accommodations are non-smoking, we ask guests to smoke outside. A fee of 250 Euros applies to smoking inside. This charge covers the costs associated with removing cigarette smoke from soft furnishings, rugs, yurt linings and bedding.

Pets are not allowed in any of our accommodations.

Lanzarote Retreats will accept no responsibility for any inconvenience with machinery breakdown. Lanzarote Retreats endeavours to repair or replace anything brought to their attention.

Documentation: Lanzarote Retreats can not be held responsible for guests unable to arrive due to expired passports or documents.

Travel Insurance: Lanzarote Retreats recommends all guests take out adequate travel insurance. It is the responsibility of guests to arrange their own travel insurance before they travel. This will usually cover the costs incurred through the inability to travel through illness, your death or that of a close relative, loss of baggage, flight cancellation, repatriation in the event of illness and also other benefits.

Bookings which include in the price a courtesy Toyota Hybrid Car: Drivers must; be over 25 years of age, have had a full driving licence for at least 2 years and bring their original licence and passport with them. Guests of less than 25 years of age are not permitted to drive the courtesy car. If you breach any of these conditions, no monetary refund will be offered on the booking.

Cancellation / Refunds

No shows

If you do not arrive at the accommodation on the scheduled date of arrival, you will be deemed to be a ‘no show’ and your booking will be cancelled and you will forfeit the deposit/balance.

Amendment

If a guest wishes to transfer their booking to another guest, a €100 Euros Administration Fee applies (€300 for Villa Palacio/Luna Mar/Las Palmitas/Casa Volcan). Lanzarote Retreats reserve the right to authorise; Date or Lead Guests changes.

If you’re arrival date is 3 months or more in the future you can request a date change following our fee.

Date changes are subject to the discretion of Lanzarote Retreats. When changing to a higher Price accommodation type, you will need to pay the rate difference. No refund will be given if you choose a lower price accommodation or season. If you choose to reduce your number of nights stay, no refund will be given on nights not used.

Depending on the rate booked, different conditions will apply.

Standard or Flexible Rate: bookings require a 30% deposit to confirm the reservation and the balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival. If a guest is unable to travel a date change might be an option for 100 euros (300 euros Villa Palacio/Luna Mar/Las Palmitas/Casa Volcan), always subject to availability at the time of amendment. Date changes are subject to the discretion of Lanzarote Retreats.

Super Flexible Rate: we require zero deposit to confirm your holiday. You only have to pay the balance 7 days before you travel. Free cancellation until 7 days before arrival. Super Flexible applies to new bookings only. If you have an existing booking or credit note, Super Flexible cannot apply.

All tariffs are subject to change.

Payment Methods Accepted: Visa / Mastercard or Bank Transfer.

Card payment will be taken in your card’s currency unless otherwise specified.
