Is our Eco Luxury Villa your perfect Lanzarote Villa?
Our opulent villa, which caters for up to six guests, is committed to supporting the environment and has undergone an extensive renovation process in order to attain an exceptionally high grade of luxury. Embracing indigenous resources, this classical aljibe, also known as a water repository, has been transformed into an exclusive abode that exhibits wooden flooring and conventional stone walls. Blending artistic elements from both Morocco and Indonesia, our villa showcases a real tropical atmosphere. An unrivaled choice for larger families or gatherings of good friends looking for a luxury Canary Islands holiday.
What’s included in our Eco Luxury Villa?
The villa encompasses an impressive 200m2 of interior floor space that occupies a single level. The living quarters are characterized by a partially open-plan layout, boasting sizable rooms that provide both cool reprieve during summer months and cozy warmth throughout winters. The vast lounge and dining area is accentuated with double patio doors, charming hardwood floors, and ornate internal windows. This area offers six seats, a Moroccan coffee table, and an Indonesian daybed that comfortably sleeps additional guests. The space is also equipped with free, fast wi-fi.
A handmade custom kitchen, fashioned from hardwood and granite, graces the villa, along with a breakfast bar and sweeping views of the surrounding terrace and immaculately tended gardens. The kitchen is comprehensive and boasts an oven, grill, four-ring hob, fridge/freezer, and a generous amount of cupboard space that will cater to the needs of even the most discerning self-caterers.
The hallway leads towards the master bedroom, embellished with breathtaking views of the mountains, luxurious antique furniture, and a regal king-sized four-poster bed (measuring 180cm). The sizable, built-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom that includes a walk-in shower, bath, and W.C. make this quarters the perfect oasis of relaxation. The second bedroom embodies wooden floors, hand-painted Chinese furniture, and twin beds. A second shower room provides guests with suitable access to amenities, such as the walk-in shower, washbasin, and W.C. Both washrooms feature Italian glass and steel sinks and Moroccan mirrors.
Outside, guests can enjoy the serenity of the gardens and relish in the privacy of their terrace. The villa boasts a charming thatched ‘breeze house’ dining area, equipped with inviting sun loungers, a barbeque, and seating for up to six individuals, all with the tranquil backdrop of sea views. There is also a stunning shaded daybed on the terrace that is perfect for relaxing in comfort or to escape the heat of the sun. Additionally, the villa offers a shared shower room, toilet, covered kitchen space as well as a lounge area, all only a few steps away from the terrace.

Find out more about the Village of Arrieta in our Arrieta travel guide.
Arrieta
The village of Arrieta has 400 inhabitants and is set in the northern municipality of Haria, the most traditional area of Lanzarote and ideal for the more independent traveller. This northern part of Lanzarote does not offer purpose-built resorts such as Costa Teguise, Puerto Del Carmen or Playa Blanca. Arrieta is a small traditional Canarian fishing village which has learnt to adapt to meet the demands of some low-key tourism. Among other things, the village offers wonderful sea front fish restaurants, a very good pizzeria take away and a supermarket. As with other villages in the north, Arrieta is peaceful, tranquil and is ideal if you are looking to be away from the neon lit bars and nightclubs found within the tourist resorts of Lanzarote.
Arrieta is one of the prettiest and most authentic fishing villages to still exist in Lanzarote today. It remains unspoiled and there is a rustic charm to many of its historic houses and coastal alleyways.
Arrieta boasts a beautiful beach called “Playa de La Garita” which has fine golden sand and is 810m long. This beach has a restaurant and beach bar and also WC/showers, parking and play park. The waters generally remain calm throughout the year. This beach is ideal for first-time surfing, body boarding, sunbathing, swimming, wave jumping, sand castle making, sunrise spotting, fishing and dining at the beach bar or restaurant.

AnonymousLanzarote is a truly fantastic island. It is so much better than I had thought it would be and I highly recommend it. We were there for a week and there was so much more we could have done to explore the island. Lanzarote retreats was the perfect place to do this. They were so welcoming, pick up from the airport, personal tour of the complex, booking on to activities as soon as you arrive. There is a real personal touch here that is excellent without being overwhelming. We stayed in the eco luxury lodge which was wonderful. The pictures don’t do it justice. We were so happy there. All the facilities were wonderful, short walk to the beach and the town and a Prius (eco car) thrown in on top was an a amazing touch. I really can’t recommend more highly. I never return to the same place twice for a holiday as I always want to do something different. However, lanzarote has much more to explore than we got the chance to and I would definitely go back to lanzarote retreats.
Subitha subramaniamWe had a terrific 5 day stay at the Eco Luxury Villa in December. Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend it to friends. The reservation process was helpful, straightforward and highly responsive. We also booked airport pick-up and drop-off and a hybrid car from Lanzarote Retreats which I would highly recommend – fair prices and excellent service on both. The Villa did not disappoint. We arrived late in the evening, very friendly and service oriented. Every member of staff we met was genuinely friendly and keen to make our stay a memorable one. And the Villa itself was superb – the classic Canarian style was simply stunning. Stone floors and walls, eclectic furnishings and a cozy feel. The space was huge and more than enough for five adults. We loved the eco ethic with all power and water off grid, fanatic recycling and re-use and still a wonderful chilled out vibe amongst both the Lanazarote Retreats Team as well as fellow guests. Its location is outstanding and within walking distance to the beach and town as well as an easy drive to other key sights. We would return again – just what we needed for an end of year family break. Thank you!
Nina RuppelH. N. and L. say thank you !! A really great vacation! No hotel, no apartment, but exceptional accommodation that offered all possibilities and freedom. The facility has a special charm and is designed for sustainability. No mass tourism! Beautiful starry sky …. Cooking, eating out or using the finca’s service – everything is possible. The prices, even in the small finca shop, are totally okay. Mediation of friendly surf instructors and great tips for excursions. All employees are friendly. You have to cross the country road to get to the beach. That seems unusual at first, but is typical of the country and unproblematic. The beach is popular with locals of all ages. I could still write a lot. The north is worth seeing and it is basically not far to the south.
