Indulge in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and stylish furnishings of this impeccably designed luxury Lanzarote villa. Both kitchens boast state-of-the-art appliances, while the main kitchen goes above and beyond with its modern double-door fridge, freezer, coffee machine, and complete set of utensils. It’s the ideal setup for stress-free self-catering. The villa provides ample space for everyone to gather around the wooden dining table or relax in the comfortable chairs near the cosy gas fireplace. Step outside the expansive living area through double doors and find yourself on the patio, where alfresco dining awaits at the second wooden dining table, with the fire pit area just ahead.

On the ground floor of the main house there are three bedrooms. You’ll find a spacious air-conditioned master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Look out from the bed through the feature, round window overlooking the surrounding countryside . A second bedroom with double bed on this level has windows with lovely views over the gardens. A third bedroom has an elevated double bed. These two bedrooms share a family shower room. Stairs lead up to the mezzanine that overlooks the lounge, featuring an L-shaped sofa and a dedicated workspace. From this spot, you can find focus if you are remote-working on your stay while enjoying the captivating view of the Atlantic waves. From the mezzanine level, access the exterior balcony with stunning garden views. Following the terrace to the right, discover the air-conditioned blue room, complete with an ensuite bathroom and floor-to-ceiling glass walls that provide panoramic sights and the perfect atmosphere for stargazing. This seaside villa is conveniently situated just a short 10-minute walk from the ocean.

As you leave the lounge area and step onto the terrace on the ground floor, take a right turn to discover the second section of the house. This area features a room with a lofted double bed accessed by step ladders and a single bed on the ground level, making it an ideal space for kids or teenagers. The elevated double bed adds a unique touch and optimises the room’s use of space. Below the elevated bed, there is a door that leads to a double bedroom with an ensuite, ensuring privacy and convenience for young children or teenagers. This is followed by a kitchen dining area.

Under the covered terrace, you will find a built in daybed overlooking the pool. Additionally, there is a pool house equipped with a WC, shower, fridge, and kettle. For your convenience, yoga mats and blocks are available in the pool house. Behind the pool house, you can enjoy bouncing on the trampoline and playing on the sandy volleyball pitch. The property offers multiple private areas to relax, allowing you to soak up the sun surrounded by luscious palm trees and nearly 50 olive trees.

Mala is a village in the municipality of Haría on Lanzarote in the province of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands. Its population in 2012 was 533. The village’s economy is based around tourism and agriculture. Its nearest neighbours are the villages of Guatiza and Charco del Palo, both about 3 km away.

Some places to visit close to Mala are:

  • Charco del Palo: This town is just two kilometres from Mala and is known for being a nudist resort, with mainly German tourists. If you visit this unique little town, you have to take a dip in its natural pools.
  • Guatiza salt flats: Natural salt flats heading towards Los Cocoteros. Nearby you will find a pool where you can enjoy a quick swim.
  • Mala Dam: Although never in operation, it is still a great site to see. It is easy enough to find at it can be seen from the highway heading from Mala to Guatiza. When the wind is right you can also see paragliders and hang-gliders starting their flights from the dam.
  • Caves by the Mala Dam: For the real adventure seekers! From the dam there is a two kilometre trail where you can find three different artificial caves. “La Catedral”, is the largest and most impressive cave. Don’t forget your camera because this is the perfect spot to take a few snaps.
  • Don Quijote bar & restaurant that hosts live music events most weekends

Which accommodation is best for Wheel Chair users?

Arrecife Sands – Wheel Chair user information:  This apartment is all on one floor, has open plan shower and there is a lift up from street level and underground parking. Unfortunately there is a step and small door access to the terrace so a wheel chair can not access the terrace. Door sizes: kitchen 67cm, main door 80cm, all other internal doors 70cm. Please ask for more details if required.

What is check in/check out time? Is there somewhere to leave my luggage?

Check-in time is 16.00 and check-out time is 10 am. We can store luggage for you at Finca De Arrieta or at the office in Costa Teguise.

What time is check in / out time?

You can arrive to your holiday home from 16.00 onwards and your check out on departure day is at 10am

What to pack between October and March?

Jumper/Fleece – a jumper for evenings as Lanzarote offers lovely outdoor living and it can be cooler outside at night.

Light waterproof jacket  –  incase it showers (which is not very often but can catch you out)

Wetsuits – if you are planning getting in the water!

What to pack for Families?

Baby monitor if you are planning to spend evenings out on the terrace.

Calpol, teething gel etc….

Nappies/Swim nappies – you can buy these here but they are very expensive

Milk Powder – again very expensive and they may not have your usual brand
