Holiday with friends
Benefits of holidaying with friends as neighbours
If you’ve ever holidayed with groups of friends or extended family, you’ll know the usual arguments
about who’s sharing with who (and who snores). But the benefits of holidaying en masse far
outweigh the negatives. The quality time together to properly catch up and the chance to create
shared memories that will last a lifetime.
Luckily, the versatility of the Lanzarote Retreats collection means that you don’t even have to get
everyone into one villa to have these precious moments. We’ve picked a few options where you can
holiday with friends or family as neighbours, the perfect win-win. Check in to the following and you’ll
be guaranteed friendcation bliss.
Seaside villas in Punta Mujeres
Our trio of modern holiday villas in the pretty coastal village of Punta Mujeres provide the ideal base
for holidaying together whilst enjoying your own space. Set just back from the sea in a small, gated
complex, Casa Hibiscus, Casa Lila, and Casa Margarita can be rented separately or together. Each
enjoys the use of a shared swimming pool.
Laid out over three floors, Casa Hibiscus sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms and boasts a light
and airy open-plan living and dining room. Outside, the fenced terrace has sun loungers, dining
furniture, and BBQ. Next-door-but-one, Casa Lila has two bedrooms, sleeping up to five people. Casa
Margarita sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms.
An authentic, tranquil fishing village, Punta Mujeres is the perfect spot for immersing yourself in the
laidback Lanzarote lifestyle. Wander along the seafront to the tapas bar, enjoy traditional dishes in a
variety of local restaurants, or go beachcombing along the coastline.
Glamping at Finca de Arrieta
Eco village Finca de Arrieta was designed with communal, sustainable living in mind, with a range of
yurts and cottages to choose from. The layout lends itself perfectly to groups holidaying together
whilst having their own privacy.
The latest addition, Calima, Chacho, Ye, and Ocean View yurts are adjacent but independent. Each
can accommodate two adults and two children and has use of a shared kitchen area for moments
when you want to all come together. Set at the top of the Finca, the yurts offer magnificent views,
and each has a spacious sleeping area, a south-facing garden, and a private WC and shower room.
Push the boat out at Palacio
If you really want to spread out with plenty of space whilst having a large communal living area, then
Villa Palacio & Yurts is the ultimate pad. Choose from six bedrooms in the main villa, a separate, en
suite garden bedroom, and three freestanding yurts.
The three yurts are divided into two areas, one stand-alone with a super king bed and a single bed
and the other two set fifteen meters from each other on a lower level, both with twin beds.
Alongside the stand-alone yurt is an alfresco living area with a fully fitted kitchen and a breakfast
bar. The further two yurts share a lounge area with sofas, sea views, a breakfast bar, a drinks fridge,
and tea/coffee facilities.
