Puerto Calero

The luxurious and exclusive resort of Puerto Calero is part of the municipality of Yaiza, on the southeast coast of Lanzarote. This marina is situated approximately 2km south of Puerto del Carmen and 10km from Arrecife International Airport.

The Puerto Calero marina has 450 berths and is suitable for superyachts up to 75 metres in length, some of the world’s most luxurious vessels have moored here over the years. The areas around are privately owned, beautifully landscaped and there is 24 hour private security throughout the area. Puerto Calero had managed to place itself among the most modern and exclusive ports in all of Spain.

On this resort you won’t find a sandy beach, the closest ones are in Puerto del Carmen, however there is a wide range of sophisticate bars, restaurants and designers shops along the marina that overlook the expensive-looking yachts.

This area is one of the best diving areas around the island with a vast variety of marine life. If you are not keen on getting wet, here you will find Submarine Safaris, a trip that will take you to a depth of 60 metres in a 18.5 metre long submarine, encountering an incredible array of sea life on the route and all helpfully identified by the expert on board guides.

Puerto Calero is also the base of the Catlanza catamaran for a trip to Papagayo Beaches and a variety of sport-fishing boats and sailing schools.
