Ye
Ye is a small village in the municipality of Haría in the Las Palmas province of northern Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Ye is quite remote and inhabited by just over a hundred people. Here, time seems to have really stopped.
From Ye’s chapel there is a path that allows you to easily walk to El Volcan de la Corona. Right from the beginning of the walk you’ll pass plenty of fig trees and grapevines, very typical of the northern part of Lanzarote.
Once at the summit of the Volcano, the hikers are able to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views. To the North, your gaze can be rewarded by the contemplation of the immensity of the sea and the Roque del Este (an islet of the Chinijo Archipelago) or the Ye vineyards, which truly look like they are out of a painting. To the East is the coast of Mala and Arrieta.
