Punta Mujeres Village

It is very picturesque, and has a number of excellent restaurants and a range of local shops from bakers to supermarkets. It is a great base from which to explore the island, with the Jameos del Agua, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves and the Valley of a Thousand Palms being within a 10 minute drive. Haria offers a Saturday morning local craft market which is well worth a visit even if you just sit and have a coffee and watch the hustle and bustle in the village plaza. Punta Mujeres rugged shoreline is an ideal location for children to explore rock pools, and you have the chance to swim in the unusual lava formed rock swimming pools which are unique to this village. There are four pools in total one of which is located at the Tapas bar “La Piscina”. These pools are tidal anda ideal for swimming in if you like to avoid the waves, you can access the water easily and provid a very safe swimming area.

Punta Mujeres Beach

Along with the lava swimming pools the village also has a quaint pebbled beach cove. This is an ideal location to snorkel from where you can see a wealth of fish and corals. This little beach is usually quiet and set in the centre of the village you are also able to explore rock pools from here.
