Some June Events

If you can visit us in June then there really are some great events, such as:

SONIDOS LIQUIDOSÂ (Liquid Sounds) a unique festival that brings music to the world of wine & gastronomy, mixing the three concepts to make an event like no other.

The June 20th event will include a performance by the Kraters, a band fronted by Benn Atkinson, who just happens to be the brother of Lanzarote Retreats co-founder, Michelle. So the recommendation for this specific night comes with no bias!

WINE RUN LANZAROTE

So it is starting to seem that everything we recommend comes with fine wine & food!

In June our marathon running certainly does,Â when the Lanzarote Retreats team participate in the 2015 Wine Run.

There is really something for everyone, a long 23k course, shorter 11k course and treks for walkers and children, all across some of the most stunning terrain on earth, during which you can also try some very fine wines!! Event registration and info CLICK HERE

June also sees ourÂ island celebrateÂ Midsummer with bonfires, known locally as the Quema de la hoguera de San Juan, the mostÂ spectacularÂ of which is in Haria, where they celebrate the Fiesta de San Juan for 2 weeks. So yes there will be wineÂ there also!!
