We are a family-run company

We are a family-run company which has been growing rapidly since 2007. Lanzarote Retreats is the creation of husband-and-wife team, Tila and Michelle Braddock, who have lived in Lanzarote since the early 1990’s. The concept of Lanzarote Retreats developed from Tila and Michelle’s desire to offer chic and eco-friendly holiday homes, mainly in and around Arrieta, a stunning, rural village in the North of the Canary Islands, Lanzarote.

It was here that they created the original eco-village “Finca De Arrieta” which offers luxury holiday yurts and stone cottages. The Braddocks chose this area of Lanzarote for Finca De Arrieta as the northeast coast is a part of the island they love and where they raised their family.

Today, the company is headed up by Tila and Michelle’s son, Josh. Lanzarote Retreats also offers a wide selection of luxury holiday villas, cottages and apartments located in some of the quietest spots across the island

We have had such a huge amount of positive feedback, not only from our friends and family but from the locals who live around us here in Lanzarote. We have now taken those ideas up a level by expanding for the eco-tourism market with our eco-friendly retreat at Finca de Arrieta.

Don’t just take our word for it, our “Guest Films” make the perfect introduction to Lanzarote Retreats; feel free to share the experience!

With offices located in Costa Teguise, the Lanzarote Retreats friendly team are totally committed to providing a personal and knowledgeable service to all their guests. Using their own personal experience of life in Lanzarote, they ensure that every holiday is tailor-made and the best it can possibly be. Why not virtually “Meet the Team“ so you can put a face to a name before you arrive.

If you are looking to holiday in Lanzarote we are here to help! From organising car hire, arranging days out, and providing child and nursery equipment to recommending restaurants and beaches, the team at Lanzarote Retreats have a lifetime of experience from living, working, keeping the kids happy (very important) and just generally enjoying Lanzarote.

When we entered it was very clean we had towels and beach towels, we also had 2 robes which I thought were brilliant. Tea, milk and wine on arrival too.. Everything you need within walking distance great restaurants lovely beach!

We have just returned from a 7 night stay. I can’t recommend this place enough. When we arrived we were welcomed by champagne in the fridge, tea, coffee and snacks … Very useful ! The resort was very peaceful and relaxed and great to be off grid and rely on nature to provide electric etc … Certainly what we wanted as the big resorts often put us off. The beach at Arrieta is great and fantastic tapas to be had just by the Fisherman’s Cottage. Further north you will find some secluded beaches towards Orzola, although not great for swimming. The usual tourist attractions were interesting but can be done in a couple of days if you hire a car. A must see is El Golfo if you want to see a rugged coastline and great little restaurants away from the masses of tourists. Haria market on Fridays is also worth a visit for hand crafted items and Famara beach great for surfing/body boarding.. Lanzarote is great for a winter sun break .. You just need to choose where you go …well done Lanzarote Retreats !

We loved the chilled-out atmosphere of Lanzarote Retreat and the eco credentials. Staff were lovely and very helpful; any questions or requests were dealt with very quickly and helpfully. The yurt was cosy and comfortable and the shower / bathroom clean and working well. The kitchen was well stocked and the communal area comfortable and welcoming. Zack the cat added a nice homely touch! We would definitely recommend this retreat.
