We are a family-run company
We are a family-run company which has been growing rapidly since 2007. Lanzarote Retreats is the creation of husband-and-wife team, Tila and Michelle Braddock, who have lived in Lanzarote since the early 1990’s. The concept of Lanzarote Retreats developed from Tila and Michelle’s desire to offer chic and eco-friendly holiday homes, mainly in and around Arrieta, a stunning, rural village in the North of the Canary Islands, Lanzarote.
It was here that they created the original eco-village “Finca De Arrieta” which offers luxury holiday yurts and stone cottages. The Braddocks chose this area of Lanzarote for Finca De Arrieta as the northeast coast is a part of the island they love and where they raised their family.
Today, the company is headed up by Tila and Michelle’s son, Josh. Lanzarote Retreats also offers a wide selection of luxury holiday villas, cottages and apartments located in some of the quietest spots across the island
Don’t just take our word for it, our “Guest Films” make the perfect introduction to Lanzarote Retreats; feel free to share the experience!

We were 2 families of 4 that stayed in August 2022 and absolutely loved it. When we arrived at the Villa we were very pleased with what we saw. The Villa is spacious and clean with a pool plenty big enough for all of us. The outside dining area was perfect, the kitchen spacious and the bedrooms adequate for what we required, even though there was no air conditioning this was never a problem and the ceiling fans were enough to keep you cool. In the 2nd bedroom there is a plug in the cupboard that can be connected for an hour per day if you have trouble with hot-water and this worked perfectly. There was also a room with a table tennis table that got a reasonable amount of use. It is located in a quiet area half-way between Puerto Del Carmen and Puerto Calero. Both Del Carmen and Calero are walkable and it takes roughly 25 minutes along a coastal path (only done this during the day though, not sure it’s advisable of a nighttime given the uneven floor, reasonable drops to the ocean and lack of lighting). Taxis are easy to get from the Villa but you have to walk to the main road to collect them. This is along an unmade dusty road but only takes a few minutes. The driveway to the Villa is pretty long and made up of broken lava stones/dust but we managed in sandals & flip-flops no problem, white trainers take a bit of a bashing. Del Carmen is the livelier of the 2 with Calero being the the more upmarket of the 2. We ate in both and would have to say that Calero had the better restaurants. The Harbour Club, Azure and Portena were all very good. The Lanzarote retreats team were very friendly and quick to respond to all queries leading up to and during our stay and would 100% use their services again.Bradley
We have just had such a fantastic week staying in Eco Casita with our 2 year old daughter. So relaxing and calm with lots to do. No technology was bliss, she spent her week playing at the park, feeding the donkeys, collecting the eggs and playing by the pool and on the beach. Tila and Michelle have thought of everything and Finca De Arrieta is such a beautiful and quirky place that we would definitely return to and recommend to our friends. We loved the non touristy town and the restaurants down on the beach, especially the mojito bar which is a VW van, we loved sitting there and watching the surfers whilst our daughter played at the park. All in all, the perfect week, we will be back, perhaps when it is a little warmer so we can enjoy the pool!
Thank you everyone at Finca De Arrieta!!!Francesca S
Las Palmitas is a stunning villa. So stylish and spotlessly clean. We have stayed in many villas on Lanzarote and we can honestly say Las Palmitas is our favourite one. The last part of the road to the villa is a gravel track but worth it for the quiet location and the view of the sea and the mountains. The photos of the villa and the interior don’t actually do the place justice. The management team are also excellent and respond to any enquiry really quickly. We highly recommend Las Palmitas and will definitely be back.Christine
