Food Options
In most accommodations, we provide private, fully equipped kitchens. For more substantial shopping, we recommend one of the supermarkets in Arrecife, such as Lidl or Mercadona. There are a number of smaller supermarkets in Costa Teguise, one in Punta Mujeres and two in Arrieta,though these tend to have little selection and are considerably more expensive.. You can also visit one of the markets during the weekends – Saturday in Haria and Arrecife, Sunday in Teguise and Mancha blanca.
For the convenience of our guests staying at the Finca de Arrieta, there is a 24/7 Honesty shop with some basic grocery and local products. Please beware there is no fresh food available.
On Mondays, all our guests are welcome to join Paella evening taking place in the communal area of Finca de Arrieta. You can enjoy a lovely seafood or veggie paella with sangria or sparkling cava.
On most days of the week, we offer food delivery service. Our clients in Punta Mujeres, Arrieta, Tabayesco, Mala and Charco del Palo can choose between various items from Canarian and Italian menu.
In addition, we provide a list of recommended restaurants all over the island, one of our favourite being Casa de La Playa right on the Arrieta beach. We are of course happy to help you with any specific queries concerning your gourmet and diet preferences or help you to find a catering or private chef for some special occasion.
